Used 991 C2 purchase
Discussion
Having recently deserted BMW "M" cars after 10 years I have spent a while at OPC's with the intention of buying a 991.1
Running a normally aspirated engine was particularly appealing after the uninspiring 3 litre turbo in the M4 CP.
Well aware of the need to find a car with the right spec(whatever that is) and low mileage I tried both 3.4 and 3.8 models and came away surprised at the price asked for these cars compared with so called poverty spec version with normal mileage (e.g. 12K).Having decided to give up on the idea helpful advice from Porsche Club GB lead to a 2014 one owner 3.4 with 35K miles. Without Chronosport or Bose I was well aware that if and when a P/X or a cash sale is needed dealers probably will not rate the car (can't see any OPC 991's over 50k miles). However in the meantime its a great drive and maybe I will just keep it!
