After killing what must be my 4th battery in 2 years (under usage of the car recently, I know I know!), I've decided I need a trickle charger. have spotted this one, but only seems to go up to 30Ah (not quite sure how that is a limit...) whereas my 993 battery will be 70Ah+

Will it be okay? Or can people recommend another trickle charger?

Seriously recommend a ctek. Much better and more intelligent than an oxford. Go for the MX5 one..

I bought a couple from Aldi/Lidl years ago that have been very good. THIS ONE. They have lasted a lot longer than the Optimate I had before.

The ones you buy from Porsche for a lot more money are rebranded CTEK's albeit not usually the better MX5 version which as others have said is a great choice.
Amazon will also sell you all the connector types you could possibly want including cigarette lighter socket type although that depends on whether your 993 version is live obviously.

^ this. I have two one on the Porsche and one to top up the other cars if required. Brilliant at keeping your battery topped up or breathing life into a flat battery.

Halfords Maintenance Charger - £25. Bargain.
Used one on my 997 for 6 years without any problems. Had the same model on the missus Mini for 7 years.
