Dear All,
A few months ago I wrote about the jerkyness of the 997 GTS PDK as opposed to the amazing speed and smoothness of the 991S PDK that I had previously. My comment has been referenced a few times by other Pistoheaders in exchanges about the relative merits of the PDK in the 997.
I have recently had my 997 in for the 6 year service items (the third service is not due until Jan 2018, but the 6 year items were due a couple of months ago), which included a PDK oil change etc.
The serviced gearbox is totally transformed. Changes are much smoother and more instantaneous, much more like the 'box in the 991S that I was comparing it with.
So, moral is, get it serviced if it's not smooth!
Cheers
Jack
