Frank's back ..... !!!!!!
Discussion
Love him or hate him, he's back (and looking more like Magnus Walker these days)
Actually, it seems Frank's toned his presenting style down a lot, and it's all the better for it
Some cracking 964 footage. Enjoy !

Thanks for posting. One of their better vids for sure.
Out of interest Slippy what the right money for a 60,000 mile UK supplied RHD 964 RS. Ashgood have a Ruby Red one for £200,000 which seems daft. Reduced from 250,000 to 225,000 and now 200,000!
For me the current price is somewhere in the region of around 35k on the heavy side. Out of interest Slippy what the right money for a 60,000 mile UK supplied RHD 964 RS. Ashgood have a Ruby Red one for £200,000 which seems daft. Reduced from 250,000 to 225,000 and now 200,000!

Yep, I noticed it on their site a couple of days ago. It's a tricky one. All the moreso as it's a VERY limited market and there's no shortage of nice cars in good hues. This looks like the same car DK Engineering were trying to sell (and continue to) earlier this year : Out of interest Slippy what the right money for a 60,000 mile UK supplied RHD 964 RS. The problem is the market for them has plateaued and there aren't many if any takers at £200k. The mileage will be an issue for the true collectors, but it's also too expensive to make a useable car for a real enthusiast.
The RHD cars seem to polarise opinion too, some don't see them as the "real deal", and I have to say that if you're looking for the full fat 964 RS "hit", the non power assisted steering of the LHD cars does add to the feeling of rawness, tactility and engagement. For sure it's real PITA around town, as the limited lock makes tight manouvering "tricky"..... And I've made my thoughts on the RHD driving position/pedal layout known on here previously

I'd save myself £35K and have this lefty everytime : https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...
The rather lovely Maritime example at Paragon has been on the market since last year, the £209K price tag is laughable. Bearing in mind what I sold my car for early last year (LHD, lower miles, Ferrari Yellow, not original paint) but restored to a level that made it all but undriveable, the Paragon car is £170k max to a UK buyer.
I guess the answer to your question is this : The buyer ultimately decides what a car is worth, and on the basis of the previous thread linked to, this RHD car is a good example, as it hasn't sold with DKE at £200K, there's little to suggest it'll sell for that figure with this retailer either.
Realistically it's probably worth £175K, maximum, but the punters looking to buy aren't exactly thick on the ground ........

Hi Rich Hope you're well ? . Current copy of 911 & PW purchased for safe keeping, t'was the last copy in WHS (must've been a popular issue ! !) but I'll see if I can find another copy for myself elsewhere. Slippydiff said:

Safe keeping
Not sure if it is a popular issue H, but I managed to order a copy here if you struggle to find elsewhere

I am pretty sure I know this car. If so it is truly mint and all original paint. The blue one at Paragon is also very nice. The missus asked if she could have it. I said its manual. Well can't you convert it to auto. Have you seen the price I said. One too many zeros for you Out of interest Slippy what the right money for a 60,000 mile UK supplied RHD 964 RS. I was told the ruby one at DK had been painted (when owned by Paul at GT Classics). Not uncommon on a car of this age. But I recall also being told it is original panels.
Great memories there as drove a 64 RS as daily snotter for 7 years and about 50 k miles ..... had cup pipe ( 114 Db ) and drilled Airbox so a bit noisy ........ also used to put 4 slicks in the car and off to Spa and the Ring .... there was a group of about 10 guys with them and we drove between the Ring and Spa like we stole them , fun days ..
Had the pleasure of recently spending two days on track with Frank, and also drove the yellow 911 in the back row. Epic car and he is the most lovely and enthusiastic guy you could ever meet. He'd come out of his car after every session with a look of total excitement on his face. He's got real passion.
