Like a lot of other people I watched the car wow episode where he switched to Ohlins R/T, looking at these the set is the same for C2 cab or coupe - I'd think the cab is ~40% less torsionally rigid than the coupe so would this be a recipe for disaster, the stiffer springs combined with the deflection of the chassis acting to ruin the car, or would it all be fine?

I don't think you'd get the best out of the Ohlins on a cab, that's for sure. Just go OEM or something.

It's got new Bilstein B6 and the OEM springs, just wondered if there was something better than a near 20 year old design.

There probably is, but you clearly know that rigidity is important. Maybe ask Centre Gravity?

I spent half an hour on the phone with Chris from Centre Gravity this evening as I walked back from the station - what a nice chap.

As suspected the spring rates for the coupe would be too stiff for the cab - but the Ohlins R/T dampers are very much the recommendation.

Chris is going to send me a quote over the next couple of days for the Ohlins dampers paired with Eibach springs of a rate that is suited to the cab, the goal being to enhance everything that is positive about the car whilst inducing nothing that is negative.

I'd thoroughly recommend a chat with Chris and his team if anyone were to be looking for a suspension refresh.

Eibach springs! I wouldn't.

Well, I would if CG are prepared to back them, but Jeremy hasn't had the greatest success with them coupled with some B8 dampers on his Croc, the nose is on the floor and whilst the dampers are pretty impressive (I drove and rode the car), the springs are, frankly, st.

They're the wrong springs for his application, I thought? Wrongly specified by Eibach that is, which is the problem rather than the quality of the springs.

I totally agree that their customer service is extremely poor, that's beyond doubt, but I didn't think that their products mechanical quality was in being called into question.
