Had it on track the other day and felt the front was not so good, feels like it could do with more camber

I had mine set up by JZM with the Manthey mod kit - allows proper camber on the front and made a big difference to turn-in on track.

The issue with JZM and Parr is you don't get a print out of your settings.

the car might not need more camber, Is the OP car killing outers up front ?

911 front ends are a skill to master, they have tried to make the car easier to drive with RWS but you still have to trail it in as 911 always push imo.

CG are very good. They deservedly enjoy a great reputation. I had my car there earlier this year because I had a few vibration issues under braking and fancied trying their annual Porsche clinic offer.

However, as far as the set up was concerned, the road-over-track set up work previously done by Mike at Sports & Classic was extremely close to where the car ended up - little was changed. So if you are North West, you could do worse than try there. I had no complaints about the set-up - that was not the reason for visiting CG.

Terry, JZM recommended this kit i think. What it all about as when Steve was explaining over the phone i diddnt really take it in 100%...

I dont want a rock solid setup, as i mostly use for the odd blast on road and a few trackdays

Chris @ CG checked and slightly re-set the alignment of my 991 GT3 earlier this year.

I like their approach;

Identify the handling traits of the car on the road (std test route for them, you as a passenger)

then look at the car on a ramp, see what its set to
make measurements & adjustments to modify the setup to your taste, or just revert to stock.
then re-test on same route, as passenger & driver.

I visited them earlier in the year as I'd hit an object on the road at night (turned out it was just a low grate).
I'd got a track day coming up & wanted it checking for peace of mind.
no damage but the car was slightly out of factory alignment - the road traits demonstrated the slight misalignment.

I had a little more front end bite dialled in (via increased front camber) but thats it - the car is absolutely spot on now. Just a fraction of tweaking has mad a big difference to it.

Cant recommend them highly enough.
