There is one that has sparked an interest for sale in the classifieds and will be taking a look this weekend. I have just tested a 911.2 Turbo S Cab and it left me a little disappointed in so far as there was a lot of forward motion but little drama.

Having had a really nice 981 Boxter GTS in Carmine red I can't help but think this will be even better.

One fly in the ointment is the number of former owners which is around 5 of them, the dealer is aware of the owners and why they moved on, the last being sold to a lady who did not get on with it for 3 months however it seems to have been owned by members of a supercar club which is disturbing me slightly inso far as the way it has been used in such a short time by its previous owners, should I be concerned enough to walk away even though the OPC is backing the car 100%?

Apart from that it looks great and will be a long way to travel to see it so any pointers on what to look out for would also be welcome.

Thanks
Bish

The number of owners wouldn't worry me, but the fact that one of those owners was a rental company does.

I'm not normally one to be fussy, but I would pass on that car, there are plenty of others to chose from.

If you end up buying it, put yourself in the shoes of the next buyer...it's possibly going to be an issue for them too.....

I'm not normally obsessed by the amount of owners but 5 on a car that could quite possibly be less than two years old would be an issue especially with one being a super car club which lets face it is less than ideal.

With OPC's just starting to deliver the first 991.2 GTS's I'd be waiting around for cars that OPC's take in against those. I'd even be proactive and call a few OPC's....quite often cars get sold without hitting websites.

I'd only buy that car if the spec was absolutely 100% and a high one at that....and it was at the right price. Whatever the OPC says now it's ownership history would cost you money if you ever sold.

Thanks for reply guys, I came to the same conclusion so have passed on it. Can't be doing with this sort of hassle on a £100k car. So will keep looking.
