Hi Guys, looking for some advice...
My 911 is due a minor service and so far it has FPSH.
I've just booked it in at Porsche and the cost will be £700.00.
I am considering whether to proceed or book it in with an Indy such as Charles Ivy Porsche (2 mins drive away from me) or RPM (always read good things about them).
My question is whether this will negatively impact the value of my car, should I keep the main dealer stamps going?

At 11 years old I don't think many people would expect every service to be at an OPC so long as it is at a Porsche specialist (not just an ordinary garage) and within the required time/distance parameters I would regards that as being equivalent.

Agree - People who know what they're looking for won't be fussed with a non-OPC stamp at your cars age.
FYI my last Minor Service at a highly regarded Essex Porsche Specialist was less than half that price - and that included an MOT cost.

But do they have nice coffee and a receptionist with a short skirt!

Does it still have a Porsche warranty? 15 years available now I believe. Might be a consideration for you, I don't know.

That sounds steep. Usually around £3-409 for minor st OPC.

I wonder if the price is because it's an OPC in London.
Anyway decided to book it into JAZ, read great reviews ands its half the price. Will need to drop off and get a train back to London but don't mind.
Car not under warranty anymore, so not restricted on who I use.
Thanks for the input!

No, but you can make yourself a cuppa as long as you make everyone else one, then sit down to thumb through dog eared copies of Porsche Post biggrin
