Where to mount trickle charger connector?

Hi guys

I've recently gotten into 996 ownership and because I do stacks of miles for work, the 911 will be a weekend toy. I've got a ctek trickle charger that I've used on plenty of my past toys, always wiring in a comfort connector for it.

The way I park means something at the front is best (that handy!) and the car sits under a cover, so preferably something easy to access on the offside with the cover on or something I can plug in and run the cable straight to the floor.

So, inspire me, where have people mounted their connectors?

On the battery.

On the battery and routed to come out under the wipers as this avoid the cable sitting on the rubber seals.

As far as the battery goes of course I was going to mount it to the battery. I meant for the connection end. Is coming out the scuttle near the wipers the best solution?

The cigarette lighter is permanent live in my 996.
The cable at the underside of the door.and just close the door, no problem for over nine years.

Ok. Maybe mine is different, maybe the PO changed it. It's currently powering a dash cam and it's 100% not permanent live. I could probably add another easily enough mind.

Pre-facelift 996 seems to not have the permanent live that later 996/997 have.
