Spring is here...and I had to do it....
Discussion
Canadians are funny about weather..in the late Autumn they will sit out on patios with winter clothes on, and the minute there is a hint of Spring they rush outside to embrace it..
It was not too warm today, but I had not driven a 911 in months, not even looked at one. Wrepped up and plugged in they sat through the snow and ice, completely ignored. I never even checked on anything.
There was a bit of sun this morning and no snow in the city so I thought...let's go down to the dusty little old garage and get one out..and drive to my mate's condo where another one is stored, equally neglected..
Time to take the cover off and throw it in the washing machine

The car was dusty but started immediately:

Had a bit on an urban tour at low revs...

Got the other car which my mate drove...a trip out of town to some twisties. Was cold though, with remnants of snow, so we were a bit cautious

Back on the road for the shortish Canadian summer
...off to the dealer next week for Spring inspection before any adventures.........

Nice cars! And Toronto is of course a fabulous city.
Unfortunately Ontario is not a place to be a petrolhead imo. Some lovely roads in the countryside, but a rigidly enforced blanket limit of 90 km/h means if I lived there I'd drive a Prius.
Highway limit is 100Mk/h and in practical terms its 120 km/h. However, certainly there are lower speed limits in secondary roads. Good news is that there a number of race tracks, some quite good. It sure isn't like a bit of a blast on the autobahnUnfortunately Ontario is not a place to be a petrolhead imo.
