997.2 Headlamp wash issue

Had my 997.2 C2S a month and discovered the headlamp wash feature... well I THOUGHT it was just a headlamp wash but it throws sudsy water all over the car (bonnet, windscreen, roof, side windows and even onto the rear of the car!).

Surely this can't be right nor a good thing for suds to be all over the paint? Seems to be more power in the headlamp wash than the windscreen wash!

Anyone else experienced this?

Yes it's supposed to do that, it has to use force to clean the glass (gone are the days of wipers on the lights)

Really?! It seems like a car wash rather than a headlamp wash.

Couldn't even see outside the driver's side window because t was covered in suds! Can't believe that's what Porsche intended

In terms of where it goes, I'd agree that's normal. Can't say mine has a load of suds though. Maybe the mixture is off, if it's the Porsche stuff. I don't find the summer liquid that bad and the winter one seems ok so far.
