Can anybody recommend some bulbs

The bulb has blown in the boot of my 996, may as well swap all the interior bulbs out for LED if I'm going to buy any.

Can anybody recommend some decent bulbs that look good & won't cause any issues? Obviously there are dozens online but telling the good from the bad is a different story.

I replaced the boot lights in my 996tt with LED which were brighter, white and lower power. The LEDs were just over 2W instead of 10W for the standard filament. Can't find the link on ebay as I bought them ageas ago but they look exactly like these:

Wouldn't 'warm white' better match the colour of light emitted by the existing bulbs (if you want to maintain the look) 'white' is a bit clinical and modern and IMO looks out of place.

Agree.

Someone had swapped out a load of lamps around my car (1999 3.4 C2) for LED.

Half of them worked intermittently and the colour was all wrong, a cold white light. At the first service I had them all returned to standard and it looks so much nicer and more original. In my opinion!
