So what are people's thoughts on the lovely blue 993 gt2, will it make its estimate of £750k to £850k and what do people think it will sell for.

Can't be many around which are one owner cars with such low mileage.

I was going to add "comfortably" but really didn't think it would get to £1.65m

Sounds like a crazy number to me....eek

I thought the 993 GT2 would make £1.15m, so only half a bar out!

That makes the 993 RS CS which sold before for £360k a relative bargain!? wink

I believe colour makes a significant difference to prices of these collectible Porsche.

I think there is a good chance the Riviera blue GT2 achieved more than if had been Artic silver and the 964 RS 3.8 would have attracted stronger bids if it had been desirable Maritime blue.
(assuming similar provenance).

Very clean Carrera GT £550k. That's surprisingly low, presumably below reserve.

Three people competing for the GT2 according to Twittersphere.

Decent chance this is the moment everyone looks back on and says it was the top. RM's phone's will be ringing off the hook with GT2 owners tomorrow I reckon!

Just when you thought it couldn't get crazier!

Absolute madness. I do hope the owner has plenty of other cars - and i'm sure he does - because otherwise that is a very unimaginative way to spend £1.6m.

Good news for anyone with an old Pork, as it keeps the gravy train rolling. Hard luck to anyone looking to buy!
