996 C4S suspension

I am occasionally getting a short sharp `crack` sound from my 996C4S suspension (not a `creak` or `bang` sound). Sometimes front, sometimes rear, sometimes left, sometimes right, can be at speed on lumpy roads or can be pulling onto driveway or going slowly off speedhump. Might not occur for a few days and then happens a couple of times on the same day despite doing exactly the same route.
All 4 coffin arms are quite new. Tyre wear is even on all tyres. No obvious play anywhere or handling deficiencies.

Any ideas for what is likely to be causing this?

Getting your top-mounts checked would probably be my first port of call.

However I've had various 911's and the front suspension on all of them made interesting noises at one time or other! Esp when manoeuvring on full lock at low speed.

I used to get loud cracks from the rear bulkhead in my old 996Turbo (20,000 miles, 4 years old) over some bumps.......

Okay, thanks ... hopefully nothing serious then. No noises of way to work this morning, but will get top mounts checked.
