Had the GT3 in for some warranty work on friday, and was curious about a Ferrari california i saw. It wa a 2010 N/A model
I did take it out for a quick test drive.Ver easy car to drive, probable a real nice gt car.& speed duel clutch box is fabulous, but it didnt feel like it had as musch pucnch as the GT3. I did read a review that it is faster than it seems.Completed
ly different car that what ive had for the past two and a half years.
Anyone else had a drive in a California?

A client had one for 3 months before ditching it and swapping for a mercedes.

In those three months I think he had it on the road for around half that time. Electrics were a constant issue and what was meant to be a iconic car owning experience turned him off Ferrari forever.

Lovely car to look at though

A good friend has one and on the occasions that I've driven it I've been nothing but impressed. It is as you say, a GT car, but so long as you are ok with that then the overall package is excellent. I recall him saying that the model change to California 30 is pretty much a must have as the modifications are quite far reaching, including a 30 bhp increase.

I have had one recently. Nice thing as an object and fulfills its role as a GT car well. But it bears no comparison to a gt3 as a drivers machine. I now have mclaren instead which perhaps says it all. If what you want is a swift, Ferrari badged GT car it is great. Makes a tremendous noise too. But if you want something that is thrilling to drive or could do a trackday or 10, do not apply.
