My 996 is due a brake fluid change, is it worth swapping the flexi hoses for braided ones at the same time? I have no particular issue with the brakes & the car is currently standard.

If you use it on track or are planning to then they are worth it. Otherwise, no.

Have a read:

http://www.gotyournose.com/goodridge/spain/pdf/all...

Ignore the "interpretation" of data going on (including the master cylinder/caliper pressure graph); Goodridge have a vested interest. The measurement/test data itself however would appear to be robust.
The bigger question is whether the higher technical capabilities are required in your application (motoring). Thats a much more difficult question to answer.

Thanks for the replies, confirmed what I thought, I'll spend the money better elsewhere.
