Hi guys as per the title, has anyone had experience with managing to get a baby car seat into the back of a 996 Turbo?
Is there any way to retrofit Iso-fix brackets (using the existing seatbelt bolting points perhaps?)

Yes, loads of options. My son has been in a Maxi Cosi Cabriofix, then a Maxi Cosi Tobi, and now a Recaro Monza Nova 2 Seatfix. Only the latter has isofix brackets, which we don't use in the 996, but they are handy when it's in its usual position in the Cayenne. I wouldn't worry about the lack of isofix; once you find a seat that fits well, there isn't enough room for it to move about!

have two kids in the back of mine, one of three one of 2. have tried loads of diferent seats and im sorry to say the only ones that seemed really safe to me were the porsche ones. a lot of the rest although they fitted, seemed to be not as safe with the buckle

turbo very practical though, can fit two seats in back and even manage a double buggie in the boot

I'll second the cabriofix, and as I recently upgraded my daughter to forward facing the maxcosi Toni. It also relcines and locks the belt so very little movement of the seat.

Check out the £35 one in Halfords - its really good, and very petite.
Plus you get free fitting, and you can always change your mind after they have fitted it.

I find it excellent.

Thanks chaps!
So ISO-fix is a no go by the sounds?
I'm a bit of a recaro baby/infant seat snob so will see if that will work.

Yes. Someone under 5'4 could fit I'd say.

Unfortunately with a rear facing seat, the passenger seat will need to be all the way forward. I'm 5'10 and can fit in the from seat with it all the way forward but it's not the most comfortable place to be.
