I've read about dealers giving discount but are they really achievable if so are some dealers better than others how much could be achievable on used car stock looking at a car priced at £62k

That seems a good discount how long had they had the car what dealer did you p/x ?

There are so many variables you can't just generalise. A dealer may have £6k in one car that he can negotiate with and actually be trying to sell another at a loss just to get rid of it.
