Lovely looking 991 GT3, I have no idea if it's the right spec?

Virgin 991 GT3

We know Henry knows his beans, any guesses how quickly it will go at that price?

Agreed - looks a great spec apart from the lack of buckets!

As always it very much depends on personal preference, but even as a road car rather than for track use, I really think the buckets add a lot in terms of looks, support and the overall driving experience.

Had an OPC on the phone tonight cold calling me to offer nice spec GT3. I wonder how many others they called?

Providing that 'racing car' experience I guess?

Never had them to be honest, do they always have a harness which I guess possibly makes life slightly more difficult in everyday situations?

Harness is part of the ClubSport package, as you need the roll cage to attach the harnesses to.

Even if you do have the cage and harnesses you can store them out of the way for daily use.

Yep, up with it now

Thanks Sid

Regardless, for me it's a great car and I could live without buckets.

Having had the buckets I wouldn't go back to ordinary seats for this type of car!

i know these were underpriced and with a few nice options list is £120k not £l00k but £160k is sensible? Ive read they'll soon be £180-190k. Beautiful car but to me thats a bit a toppy.

Wha happens to prices on these if they bring out a gen 2 manual?

I agree. Was quite surprised. It was top dollar though so might be sticking. Well priced ones should sell quickly.

Given that there are 15 on OPC AUC and they're priced £156k - £185k, I think the bubble has stopped growing, especially considering the time of year!

GT3 prices to start falling?

Once again a thread on the 991 GT3 becomes a thread about the imminent bursting of the bubble, mainly from those who (apparently) have no interest in the car...

Almost certainly. Now that the Porsche 991 Turbo S has blown away the Speciale in Angelsey and also been proven to be the Ultimate Californian Canyons of Zog weapon I suspect people will be buying those. And an easy remap to 650bhp.

The RS is out soon, which means the GT3 is just for girlies who want to drive slowly.

Come the next bubble in 2023 they will be up at £200k again though. Not adjusted for inflation.

scratchchin

Unlikely given the anticipated c £230k+ for the first 'second hand' 991 RS.
