Took mine out this morning, first time since early November. I have reconnected with this amazing machine. Much, rightly, is made of the noise, that life affirming V10 howling with no inertia up the rev range. But, if it could howl too, the chassis and steering would make just as much an impression. The feel through the thin leather steering wheel as the car responds to your every single little command, immediately and with absolute precision, is totally unique and imo unmatched in a road car. The new Michelin pilot SS's have moved the game on and you can lean on the sublime chassis with so much confidence. The floor hinged ally pedals are perfect and you get addicted to blipping it down the box. I could drive this all day (sadly, other commitments mean I can't today). Roll on more sunny weather!

Andrew you are so lucky to have such a fantastic car. A dream would be to go in one let alone own one. Automotive perfection, enjoy it for all of us wink

Fantastic looking car. How do you choose what to take out with a fleet like yours at your disposal? :-)

Have you ever driven/been driven in a Lexus Lfa OP? I wonder how the German n/a V10 compares to the Japanese one.

Legend - probably the best Porsche ever, and does not look like a beefed up Beetle. 918 will find it a hard act to follow.

Fabulous car, in red too! The engines are beautiful things and the sound is orgasmic!

Not surprising as they were designed for Formula 1!

Definitely agreed on the above, nothing other than the cgt i think has that feeling of precision that i have driven. Interesting to note the 07 plate though, i thought all cars were built by mid 2006!

I remember a few years ago cycling to work and having a silver one slide round a corner on the lock stops, then absolutely belt it past me (he was going in the opposite direction) - Instantly fell in love with them!
