997 (GTS) geo settings
Discussion
Chaps, been searching the boards to try and locate the above info but can't find anything that doesn't relate to GT3s or Turbos.
My GTS seems to be running aggressive negative camber at the rear, enough to wear the inside of the tyre while barely touching the middle. my OPC here in Sweden has already made noises about this being standard for the GTS, which I find hard to believe.
Any help would be appreciated. Are the settings available to download somewhere?

so even after adjustment it was still not within parameters!!
That would drive me mad.
Out of factory spec does not automatically mean no good. CG will at request set up to what you want and how you want the car to feel based on your style of driving and roads you use. On my car I have as many red figure settings as green. That would drive me mad.

Looks spot on.
But that printout from Centre Gravity looks odd. Why would there be negative camber on one side and positive on the other?!
I think perhaps you are misreading it. The camber is negative on all wheels on each axle but one figure shows as red and one green to denote in or out of the factory range. But that printout from Centre Gravity looks odd. Why would there be negative camber on one side and positive on the other?!

I did not want standard settings, I could have got that anywhere.
With respect what you have got is pretty standard or as close to standard as you can get for 'custom'. The front toe is parallel and the rear camber is a mere 3 minutes out of spec or less than 1/10 a degree. The front camber is within spec and only half a degree negative. There is nothing wrong with that but it's more of a tidy and tighten up geo than one of change the settings for a big feel difference. I'm not knocking CG either as I have been there 3 or 4 times over 2 years. Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
