Has anyone got this suspension setup? Their catalogue isn't exhaustive, but fortunately Porsche is well catered for and there is a kit available for the 2WD and 4WD 997 range (for some reason the latter carrying a £700 increase in price).

I now Bilstein is an obvious choice, but i couldn't really care less about losing the function of the 'jiggly ride' button. The reason why i'm looking at Ohlins is that a) one of the best, if not the best damper manufacturer and b) i read an article where ride was better than OEM (albeit not a Porsche).

It is worth noticing this is the 'budget' Ohlins range, but they still claim good things and the purpose isn't to turn my C4S into a track warrior. I love the looks of the car on H&R springs but i would love to improve the ride.

Opinions welcomed smile

I would be checking out JRZ if I were fitting after market to a porker and did not want the likes of the 10k set ups.

If you want Ohlins then the only man you need to speak with is Russ Walton @ Mick Gardner Racing

If it is your intention to use the car primarily on the road with the occasional trackday, then I think you would find them ideal. If, however, you want something that is more track-focussed, you may find them a tad too soft.

Thanks for the tips! Sounds like they would be a good choice then.
