991 Turbo Vs Turbo S.....

Evening All,
Has anyone out there driven the standard 991 Turbo (with SC+) versus Turbo S back to back for some for comparison ?
I'm really after some candid opinions as to whether there is that much real world difference in raw performance between the two or is it fairly subtle ? Im well aware of the specs, tech, outputs etc and that the S is no brainer if the budget allows and that both are plainly batsh*t fast
I recently popped into a dealer and demo'd a standard 991 Turbo with no Sports Chrono (they didn't have any other available to drive) and impressive as that was Im sure that Sport + would have livened it up more - also can anyone comment whether SC + makes the exhaust /induction noise slightly louder on the standard car ?
I remember reading that the old Gen II Turbo S sounded marginally better than the stock turbo so wondered if this applies here on the new shape
Before you flame me for asking all of the above I did pose these very questions to the sales people and got no reassuring answers at all - even when i made it quite clear that with out SC+ the car was missing a key option they knew very little and pointed out that the car I had driven has a 'sport button on the car was plenty for the real world'....lol
