Is this still the PGB press car?

I've just seen it on a grey 991 Turbo on Sandbanks, Poole and wondered.

Interesting - I saw a white 991 GT3 about 4 weeks ago in the same place that I saw the Turbo today. Never saw the plate though.

Iconic plates and will conjure a different image depending on your generation.

For me this is 911 HUL...

(Silverstone 86/87)

Look at all the scrap in the rest of the picture!!
This is why supercars in the 1980's had a bigger bang than supercars do today.

I could hardly sleep when that car was current. The stuff dreams are made of.
It was circa £110k new 29 years ago.
That's £290K in 2015 Money.

vid of the blue 997 GT3 with the 911 GB plate:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CElOzxM7mU

and on the 991 GT3 in white:

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=991+gt3+911+GB...

on the 991 GT3 RS when it comes out in a few months??

saying that its been on a 997 GT2 it seems (but as a rule on the NA cars):

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=911+GB&qpv...

for me the 911 HUL plate will always be the iconic 993 turbo in that dark cherry colour:

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=1997+Porsche+9...

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=993+Porsche+91...

basically if you see 911 HUL or 911 GB you know its a Porsche GB official press car.

god 80s Porsche. they were just awful and they really lost their way then compared to the 70s gems

I remember seeing that car at Newmarket races once. Grew up there and used to see loads of great cars in the car park..
