Had my car for over a year , 10k miles and had one (rear) puncture. Luckily it was a slow puncture so was able to " top up pressure" to keep running until new tyre fitted. Anyone know if 996 space saver would fit gen 2 997 . I do a lot of running in remote areas and with only aerosol fix as a contingency its a worry. My car currently has 18's fitted , I remember my old 996 had an 18inch space saver which I used a few times and wonder if this would fit my current car. Anyone tried this? The seasons greetings to all. Ian

17" collapsible spare will be fine, I have one and it clears the front 350mm discs with 6 pot calliper.

Thanks for quick reply....do you mean the collapsible from the old air cooled cars or another source?.....my car has 4 pots so expect clearance more than adequate in that area...would appreciate more detail please. Regards. Ian
