997 turbo - starter motor?

My car has never been an immediate starter, sometimes you can hear the motor turn over a few times and it can take a second or three to catch, when warm it often starts on 2nd time (but never more)

Anyone else experience this, is it a starter motor replacement job (I have a warranty until March so want to sort it out now)?

It could be the earth lead as this is a known fault.

should start first time - could be plugs, battery, solenoid, HT leads any nos of things. OPC should easily be able to fix
