From the 911uk site but the more the merrier I'd say. Also looking for a 918/CGT or two to turn up as a nice cherry for the cake? Anyone interested? Already have 42 cars

http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=97711&postday...

Date: First week of March
Venue: Top Gear Test Track - Dunsfold air strip Surrey (where the middle classes call it 'sorrey'
Price: £295 per car.

Each car can have 1 passenger who can also drive. Therefore the price is per car, not per driver.

Sadly no spectators (other than the passenger) allowed. No admittance on the day.

Ooof, sounds fun but £300 seems a bit steep, or is that the going rate for a Vmax event?

Is this something that happens often or a once a year situation?

Think there's 4 events over the summer. Contact joss@autovivendi.com who runs the VMAX events with Craig.

Quite wise old bean. Imagine the shame of Porsches latest and greatest GT3 having its doors blown off by 993, 996 and 997.

Penny pinching over £395? Really?!

I actually think when I saw the price it just made realise I dont have any desire to try and max out my car and would be better spending it on 3 trackdays.

I would have much preferred to drive just the Top gear track instead.

Does any organiser offer this?

You wont max it out anyway as its only a 1 mile runway. Don't quote me on this but I think theres a bit more to the day than just the runway!

What track days are you going on? Brands GP and Silverstone GP with a decent operator are circa £400
