PPI - Manchester area

Hi All,

Please could you recommend who I could approach for PPI on a 996TT, in the Manchester area?

What can I expect?
What should the PPI cover, over revs, bore, brakes, etc etc
What is the cost?

Help!

I want to purchase my pride and joy but need peace of mind.

I live near London, so I need to get something booked ASAP.

There are lots of good places in the North West, which you choose may depend which of them is prepared to travel, or how far the seller is prepared to take the car.

Places I have experience of and would use include:
Sports and Classic (Knutsford)
Unit 11 (Warrington)
Hartech (Bolton)
Ninemeister (Warrington)

Thanks 458, I never thought of that!

Also some specialists offer additional checks over and above the PPI like bore scope & cylinder leak test.

What are your thoughts & opinon??

I'd use a specialist who sees plenty of these regularly (and probably more of them than the OPC, being as they're all at least 10 years old now). An OPC won't understand anything non-standard either, whereas others may recognise the benefits of certain upgraded parts etc.
