Gents, I know this issue has been covered a few times but unfortunately all the pics & links are dead.

When driving yesterday, after replacing and recharging the air con condensers I was on a nice stretch of road and decided to check my boost pressure as I plan on fitting some mods soon. Anyway I can only get it as far as 0.3 (it was a long straight) no matter what I tried. Going by the reading I've done I'm thinking stuck waste gate or faulty N75. Is that still the consensus of opinion and can someone please send me some pic/guide of how to check or replace these items.

no problem!

i'd start by looking for split / leaking hoses
ECU could be in safe / limp mode
bent or broken actuator rods
MAF

or
as you already mentioned iffy 75 valve

Just had it out again. Managed 0.4 after a long 4th gear at about 7k rpm

Just got mine back from same issue.
Normally boosts at 1.3-4 bar and dropped to 0.7.

Turned out to be sticking actuators and a boost leak.
Also had the MAF done. Suffice to say it is now going like the sh*t off a shovel again.

Don't suppose you are local to Aberdeen? How much did you get all that done for?

How can I get to the actuators to see if they are sticking?

No sorry in Sheffield.
In had a service/MAF replacement/CV boots replaced/Actuators sorted and leak for £1011.

RPM Knaresborough did the work

I would say that you are looking at a 75, or ECU issue.
Even with 1 turbo operational, you should be able to see more than 0.3

To do a quick visual, jack the back up and have a look at the actuator rods. Near side has a greater tendency to snap than the off side. If snapped, check the gate movement too.
If rods are good, you could try disconnecting them to check the movement of the gates.

If all is ok under there, probably time to get it plugged in.

Limt mode??

Sticking actuators usually gives overboost as they are stuck shut (the position they are in more of the time if not in use or town use)

Agree with others N75, MAF or Limp due to boost leak

I Live in Banff and ordered a PIWIS (or whatever its called)but not arrived yet, or you could easy had a shot.

Standard Actuator springs are around 0.4 bar of boost.

A simple code reader will tell you if limp more or N75 fault.
