996 GT3 to 996 GT2

I'm in the fortunate position of having a MK1 996 GT3 CS in Guards Red parked in my garage and a 997 C2S as a daily driver, problem is more often than not I'm choosing the 997 as the GT3 can be hard work to drive.
I have also owned a couple of 600bhp 996 turbos and do miss the turbo rush of these, so this has got me thinking about swapping the GT3 for a 996 GT2, has anyone else done this?

That's looking great now. Mk2 wheels transform those GT2s. 
I'm firmly in the GT3 camp and own a very similar car to yours OP, a guards mk1 CS. Mind you I had a turbo car before that so wanted to get back into a normally aspirated screamer.
Also a '3 is plenty quick enough. I think I'd just get frustrated in a car with even more pace, that I couldn't use.
Unless you find one of the 16 GT2 CSs you'll be trading your way out of a very rare special car into a more common one, although I happily admit both the '2 and '3 are special and rare.

I went from a 996Turbo to a GT2 because I found the 4wd dulled the sportiness I expected from the Turbo ( manual model, I still have a tip turbo which feels right).
Originally bought to be a daily driver I have to admit its become a bit of a garage queen recently, when I do take her out its pure pleasure though.
I get what you mean about the turbo rush, the 2's got it in spadefulls.

The GT3 is a fun drive, but to be honest the 997 is just as quick, has a lot more usable torque and is a lot more comfortable. Therefore I'm finding myself choosing the C2S over the GT3 nearly every time. It might be me just getting old lol
I do know my GT3 is a very rare being a factory Club Sport and values do seem to be on the rise, but surely the GT2 is just as special and nearly just as rare?
I've had the suspension refreshed and the Geo on my GT3 set to basic road use but the car is still very twitchy and I find I can lean on the 997 with a lot more confidence than the GT3.
I guess the question has to be will I regret selling the GT3 especially if prices continue to rise??
