Having not driven it much - it felt like the steering wheel was moving/wobbling more than I recall.

Does this vid look like Gt3 norm - or should the wheel be rock-solid: http://youtu.be/CSvEBHM3GXs

thanks!

In my experience it is very dependent on the Geo set up on the car. I have had mine set quite aggressive and I found it tram lined a lot on motorways. I then had it set up for long road journey and it was rock solid.

The balance weights are still there - none look missing. I've booked it in to an OPC - benefits of centre-locks...

Does it happen on all surfaces? I occasionally get a bit of wobble (more like vibration) on poorly surfaced motorways. It's fine on 90% of roads though so I don't think it's wheel balance or geo issue in my case.

Doesn't look normal to me - done a track day recently? Mine sometimes does that post track day (rubber pick up in the rims, brakes "done" etc.) but defo doesn't look normal IMO.

Thanks all - seems to do it on Motorways, A-roads, B-roads - I'm pretty certain it wasn't like this before. Can only assume a weight has dropped off - they're black against black wheels so difficult to spot. That yellow band exacerbates the perception too - SO annoying!

Called my local OPC - shocking experience - their opening gambit was that my car doesn't exist as it's not on their 'system' - then they wanted to book me in for a geo session - "how does August 12th sound?" Just what I want to hear when about to head to the 'ring...

HA!

So if I remove that chain from the nearside wheel - will it stop the wheel 'vibes'...?! laugh

I find mine is very sensitive to wheel balancing - balance on the fronts has to be spot on or I get some wobble through the steering wheel - its the downside of the awesome steering feel. I just go and get mine re-balanced and it sorts it out.

They often need doing after a track day - although I usually only realise that at the next track day!
