Hi All,

I am off to Zolder next week and wondered whether anyone has experience of the circuit in a GT3 in terms of noise limits as I've heard it's quite a low limit?

If it's going to be a problem I might look to take another car but I leave tomorrow (taking in the R24 and Spa) so need to make a decision asap!

Cheers

Simon

They are very, very strict on track days. You are measured at two points on the circuit i believe, the first on the exit of the second corner.

Bit late now, but they do also run a sort of test day arrangement which is virtually unsilenced. Worth keeping an eye out for those as it's a great circuit.

Have fun Simon - and enjoy the N24 when you get there. Sounds like an epic weekend.

Just got back from my annual visit there with the TVRCC Holland. The limit is 95 db, which I assume would apply to all track days. I'm guessing my TVR (no cats due to its age) would be at least as loud, if not louder than your car. Over the years I've had several black flags for noise, but have never not got back on again. I will admit I do generally short shift at coming on to the back straight, which is where one of the meters is (on the left), and there is another at of the chicanes which I've never had a problem with, so don't spare the revs.

thanks all, awesome trip and Zolder is a cracking circuit but you have to drive in s manner which respects the noise limits which is not ideal. Glad I've done it but I won't be heading back in the GT3.
