Advice on 997.2 GT3 Sway Bar Settings
Discussion
My car was recently in at the OPC and they did a full wheel alignment after I had my front shocks and mounts replaced. They told me that they had to put it back to "factory" settings as both the front and rear sway bars had been adjusted up to the first notch i.e. they put them both back to zero.
So with both bars set at the first notch, what handling characteristics would the car display vs the "standard" setting?
Thanks

So where would anybody recommend that I set it up at for a street driven car that does about 6 track days a year?
By this I mean what settings, not which company to use.
what do you find you need from it ?By this I mean what settings, not which company to use.

if nothing don't change it.
only you know how it handles on track with your geo and your driving, does it push, does it under steer, does it over steer. etc etc
imo you want the front on full soft for the road, but that's not going to be right for track days, you may want one harder on the front and 2 harder on the rear for a track day, who knows.
Also if it's all back to stock geo, I am not sure what that means on a GT3 road going car ! but I bets it's now not got enough front camber.
imo a gt3 owner should read up and know a bit more about suspension and what does what.

Mine does about 3000 road miles plus 3/4 track days and a euro trip each year. Something like 4000 miles in total. Runs cup tyres.By this I mean what settings, not which company to use.

The car runs standard geo (so default roll bar position) apart from 2 degrees neg front and rear and the front ride height is about 25mm lower than the rear (which is set as standard). Drives lovely :-)
