GT3 997 gen 1 value?
Discussion
I just had my car mot,ed and another two tyears warranty put on her.The warranty expires in Novemvenber, so it now has 29 months warranty
Gt3, full electric comfort seat, sat nav, Extended leather includes , air vents, rear veiw mirror, center consol, and full dash. Car is white with Black gloss wheels from factory, and PCCB brakes. Passed all of the Rev tests. 17,500 miles. 2 owners including myself.
What would be a realistic price guide?
Thanks Darren

55k private sale, 52/53k trade in, dealer advertises for 60k. Having said that you might get lucky and sell for more given lack of available cars and summer.
Maybe a year ago, prices on these have moved on I feel, I'd say put it up for 65k-70k private sale and it will go if it's as nice as you suggest, and as you say it has over two years Porsche warranty on it which is better than any indi dealer will offer warranty wise. There are very limited supply on these and for the money nothing comes close, my pal just paid 110k for a left hand drive challenge stradale 360 and nice as it is, it isn't twice the car a 997GT3 is.
Oh and one more fire in a 991 and these will be in even greater demand.
Trade offer would be 40k to 45k max.
Being a comfort will turn some people away.
Quick sale private would be 50k or you could put it up for a silly price like quite a few others at the mo and sit on it for a while.
When the 991 gt3 finds it feet prices will drop, in my opinion prices are being driven up due to the current 991 gt3 engine fault.

Take it to a dealer and he will soon find its real value.
991 gt3 and then the 991 gt3 rs will have a real impact when they hit the roads and tracks. There will be quite a few 997 owners looking to move into something newer.
Bubble is going burst buy wisely!

this is too low, the comfort could reduce by approx. 2k but as above this is pricing from 2 years ago, 991 gt3 does not drive these used prices as much as you might think, a new one is approx. double the price, you also have people who hanker after a manual and an engine that wont catch fireBeing a comfort will turn some people away.

That's correct Peter, I said that.
I have nothing to hide.
Little confused why you would take the time to look through all my old posts and re post that mind????
I'm guessing you think the green 997 gt3 rs at 189k is a bargain then!
Dealers / owners are trying to drive up there prices due to the current problems of the 991.
189k for a used 997 gt3 rs or by a new 991 gt3 rs and have a change in the bank.
I know which one I would go for!

Does anyone think that the current problems with the 991 gt3 will end up putting people off moving up from a 997?
If so will this then effect the values of the 991 gt3?
Not according to the current 15k+ premium......this could also increase following realised improvements of 'new' rs engine and restricted supply of 132 UK cars widely regarded as underpriced....If so will this then effect the values of the 991 gt3?
The two cars are chalk and cheese....analogue restricted user v digital daily hence one has little bearing on the price of the other......witness 90k+ paid for 4 year old gen 2s very few for sale v 100k list for basic 991 GT3 all sold with waiting lists.
