Hi All,
I've been living overseas for 18 months and not driving (in Singapore so no need) however I was after a 997 GT3 before I left the Uk.

I'm coming back in July for a week and really keen to hire one, does anyone know a company that does this?

Thanks
Rich

On the road, I am afraid not. But it you wanted to use one on a circuit it is perhaps worth noting that Bookatrack have added a 997.1 GT3 to their (until now entirely Caterham) rental fleet.

We have a 997S for hire - not in same league I know but balanced a little by some epic roads nearby in mid/north Wales! www.sportshire.co.uk

RSR Nurburg have them for hire. Well a 997 GT3 RS and Cup car at least.

Thanks for the replies, I was ideally looking to hire one for a week to try on the road but recognise there's not many/any firms who do this. I suppose trying one on a BookATrack day would give me a taste but time is at a premium when I'm back to catch up with family and friends and much as I'd like to a full days trackday ing is unlikely to happen.

Tail-Slide I'll PM you if that's ok, your company has some really interesting cars.

The way the prices are going (allegedly according to other threads) you might just buy one, drive it for a week and sell it on for a handsome profit

Not a bad idea, just need a home for if whilst I'm overseas and someone to give it some exercise once a week whilst I'm abroad, reckon there'd be any takers? ;-)

BaT have some evenings at Donington in July. Might that work for you if the dates line up? Just a thought.

Thanks for all the tips folks, decided to go down the track day route to try the GT3, SWMBO has said we need a 4 seater whilst we're back so going to hire a C63 AMG for transport duties and test out a great 2 car garage combo! :-)

So quick update I have booked the BAT 997 GT3 for a day at Donington whilst I'm back, to say I'm looking forward to it is an understatement. :-)

Must say I've been very impressed by the service from BookATrack.
