I am wanting to fit a carbon blade but how do you gain access to the hinge bolts to remove the original ?

Very easy, you need to remove an Allan screw from the top of the air intake cover on the spoiler upright. Then pull the cover off, it's quite tight but pops off once you have removed the screw. ( it's the top screw that can't be seen and is silver, not the black one that is visible at the bottom ).

Once cover is off you will see a bolt. Loosen, then important engine cover must be open to remove blade to clear bodywork, risk of denting rear wings if you don't . Easier with a helper then hinge blade up and remove.

Remove spoiler blade forks refit is reverse. I have the torque settings if you need them.

If you need help finding a carbon one for sale drop me a PM ;-) I can help.

I assume the carbon wing is aftermarket? Can't imagine there are too many genuine ones flying around?

What sort of cost and quality?

Cost of new carbon fibre one from Porsche retails over £4k, I have a couple of original used ones available one In carbon and also a GFRP unit.

The carbon makes for a nice contrast on the right car.
