Went to Bathurst in 1989, was a sort of pilgrimage as had loved watching on TV in the UK. It was a wild weekend, the Aussies know how to party and the circuit is amazing. It was the first year the Nissan GTR's had competed although not in the championship, and they both cleared off and left the rest to dust.

Wow.. That's proper proper fast. And indeed looks bloody scary in all but 3 corners... Not anything like modern F1 tracks which are as boring as hell unless you driving a single seater 800hp machine..
