I’ve been checking the local shops that supply Defa, Calix, etc, but none of them seem to offer anything that’s specially designed for a 996.

Does anyone have any ideas whether some manufacturer actually supplies something like that to a 996?

As it’s -20 to -15 here, it would be nice to have the car heated up in the mornings without having to run it for 15 minutes on idle to make it bearable to drive. I have an electrical plug available near the car, so an electric system would be perfect and not something that runs on fuel from the car.

Hi

I used to use a Webasto Hi Top pre heater, but that was fuel powered. I seem to remember they did an electric one.

Best of luck

Aren't most fuel powered preheaters diesel based?
