I've just bought a 997 Turbo from OPC, 20,000 miles on clock. Had all 4 wheels off over festive break to polish abd apply some Poorboys sealant.

I noticed that all 4 discs are noticeably grooved, especially fronts. Doesn't appear to impact braking performance. Should this be a warranty claim? Certainly more grooved than on my C4S traded.

I'd take the car back and complain before you put too many miles on. I've replaced two sets of discs over 63,000 miles and they're expensive at an OPC to replace. Should be virtually new and have at least two years of life when buying used via OPC in my view.

Porsche discs for some reason appear to wear quite quickly, especially if the car has been driven as intended. My CS discs required changing at around 28K.

IMIA's advice though is definately the route to take having just purchased the car.

I've spoken to OPC and they will look into issue with discs and report back. I'm sure they will resolve the issue (I hope!)
