A big difference between a .2 GT3 and .2 GT3 RS was the much better turn-in/rotation.
I have not driven a 992 GT3 so would be interested to know from those that have driven both how it compares to a .2 GT3 RS?
Which leads to my other question of whether anyone has any knowledge/speculation on what the big difference will be between 992 GT3 and 992 GT3 RS (aero-aside)?

It looks mean as hell especially in all Black including wheels. Such a pity that most will be given to the OPCs favourite VIP flippers who can be relied upon not to take it on track and to bring it back within a few months to the supplying OPC to share the spoils.
My one major misgiving with the 992RS is there seems to be zilch boot space in the front bonnet. I've taken my son to five trackdays this year and we just manage to squeeze two tiny overnight bags and two helmets in the front boot. This doesn't seem to be possible in the new RS so it really won't suit me, however If by some freak chance I get offered one I'll still take it and leave luggage at home.

You can wear your helmets and all your clothes on the journey there and back. Just don’t delete the climate. My one major misgiving with the 992RS is there seems to be zilch boot space in the front bonnet. AC absolute essential on any car you take on track IMO. It was pretty hot at Donnington on Monday and the AC was full blast. Really don't get it why some tick the AC delete box.Taffy66 said:

Totally agree. However, I also worry abut the luggage space. In the past I have picked up my GT cars at the factory, done a bit of touring before going to the tracks and it has become a sort of tradition. So the issue seems to be that the car cannot be used that way which is a concern; further non-folding buckets means that whatever limited space is available is also not all that accessible. So, at best this is a solo car that you can put some soft luggage on the passenger seat and jam some stuff in the back, and that assumes some space in the frunk for a helmet. Definitely not a weekender.

Max power meets boy racer from local council estate.

You obviously don't grasp the concept of aero, we should only expect a small uplift of extra BHP and if what I'm hearing is correct, a Ridiculous fast lap time so all the 'Max power' aero you talk of, well don't worry yourself too much.
I was into Max power back in the day, collected all the magazines and i had awesome teenage years going to cruises and showing my cars on max power stands!

The New RS i think will shock the motoring world, being a NA with the huge amount of of aero that it will have and the lap times that it be able to achieve.Like most, i am slightly concerned will it be a one trick pony? My GT3 on a B road is a challenge putting it lightly.

How much aero do you think is going to be all that relevant at most 'normal' cornering speeds in context of a 1500kg car?Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
