back again. Hanging around like a bad smell this car.
It must have missed a service somewhere in its history aswell...... For a 2016 car it cannot need a service in 2025 and further reading in the advert reveals it should have been done in 2020 but was missed until 2021. Not sure what knock on effect this will have if a potential buyer wants to get it back under an OPC warranty ?
Don't think it has any affect provided it's now caught up, last service been done at Porsche and passed the checks.

2020 was Covid so quite a few cars missed their services, not really a big deal imo.

2020 service missed possibly in part due to the pandemic closing OPCs 'Indie' then did late oil service in 2021 so these 2 factors would be the potential renewal of warranty issue.

Porsche at the time of the pandemic did say they would honour warranties due to any delaying servicing following OPC 'closures' but irrespective of this the service looks excessively late and depending on the 'Indie' this clearly further muddies the warranty waters.....

2016 991.1.

991.1 2015 to 2016

991.2 2018 to 2019.

Are there any pro's to a 991.1 GT3 against the 991.2? (other than price)

Maybe styling but that’s a personal thing ? But in reality the 991.2 has a better engine, better EPAS, PDK slightly improved, Apple CarPlay if that’s important and probably a slightly updated chassis.

Don't forget you can get a 6sp Manual on the .2

Its almost getting to the point where very low mileage 991.1`s are more of a risk than one with a few miles and possibly had the engine swap already done.

Agree it looks nice and very low miles but would need leather for me, makes such a difference to the dash and cabin.

“I like my car interiors like my underpants drawer, full of leather and deviated bits.”

Personally, mine are nomex fireproof. Each to their own. biggrin

First sub £120k 991.1 gt3 rs being sold at a opc with a warranty I’ve seen.

Interior not looking it’s best, but at least they have priced it on a more level playing field.

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...
Intergalactic mileage in GT3RS land, so price no surprise!
Looks like the phone can’t be ringing at this opc, they have dropped the price by a grand already.

Now £118,900
When are you gonna step in and buy it?
In white, that car does nothing for me.

Ultra Violet for a 991.1 gt3 rs in my opinion.
I'm currently in discussion with the dealer on this to upgrade from my GT4.

Been told it's getting circa £7k prep done on it, but just worried about the mileage and resale if I potential look to sell in a couple of years. I'll be planning on doing roughly 2k miles a year in it, no tracking, just a weekend toy.
I would be inclined to call another dealer saying you want out of your car and ask what they would offer, use the exact details of this RS passing it off as yours before I made any rash descions.

After that, go out for a blast in your GT4 that you have decided to keep. wink
