Cheers for sharing that mate. I think the carbon roof contrasts really well with the crayon bodywork.

I just found this image online and I don't think it looks as good on a black car.

100% agree. As forewarned, it ruins the body lines too much.

There were rumours a few months ago that there would be some kind of Dakar package available on the 992.2 Carrera. Has anyone heard anything more? I was never really a fan of the race inspired paint and slightly over done accessories, but the basic concept was really appealing.

That's OK mate. No one will judge you for it. We can't all have good taste. wink

Anyone heard anything from their OPC re the new 992.2? I was told allocations would likely become available first week of June, but no news yet.

Here's mine. No idea when I'll get it. Like has been mentioned previously, I want to drive it before I buy.

£170k for a 911GTS Is madness.

Completely. I fully expect the GT3 to be over 200k when it comes out. As will the Turbo S.

The world has gone mad.

They could get away with that in 2021 but I doubt they'll have people snapping their hands off for either this time around, not even the GT3s as the overs market has vanished

Well, it looks quick but it's not that quick because the camera operator has enough time to get to the next corner and set up his camera so I'll have whatever the camera op is driving. biggrin

Lovely.
Looks like my car! After 5 years and 60k, I dont think I would change it either if I were to buy a new one.
Good choice sir.

Drove from San Pedro to Teba on Friday (85km inland from Marbella)… saw 9 992.2’s on the stretch of road between Teba and Rhonda on the way back. Various colours, but the ones that stood out were Carmine and Gentian… looked really good in the bright sun.

Assume it was some sort of press launch as they were all German registered.

The embargo lifts this week so I am sure there will be all the "this is the best 911 ever" usual reviews

60K, that is good going Sir! Any major issues you've had during the ownership, such as Turbo problems etc?
