Poverty spec. At that money could you live with the plastic dash and plastic door cards. Very bland version if you ask me. Must be better out there for that money. White paint was launch colour and has always been cheaper, than other colours, bar brown!
You could have had a white car with less than half the miles for £90k a year ago

The Carrera white metallic is actually quite rare on the gen 1. Difficult to tell the difference in typical UK dullish light. This wasn't the launch colour but 'free' standard Carrera white was and was also the most popular colour new in the UK. There are far fewer gen 2s in white but on both models this colour sells very well used.
Interesting how most gen 1s were ordered with steels whereas new gen 2s were ordered with ceramics as price and performance increased towards RS levels. Ceramics carry far less of a premium ££ on the gen 1 than the gen 2.

That car is not poverty spec and has around £18k worth of extras despite the absence of extended leather which most buyers understandably demand on used examples.

Indeed the very one option is falls short on is what most buyers demand. Therefore it is poverty spec. Glad we agree, sort of. The Carrera white metallic is actually quite rare on the gen 1. guess not ... really didnt think it would go that high
That price was mental ?julian987R said:
Seems a fair price to me. Others of similar spec are around £142K-£145K and this one has a £5K upgraded exhaust coupled with maybe this spec was the exact config being sought after by the purchaser. I can't imagine having that amount of money to spend on a car but my hunch would be when you are at that sum, whats a few thousand more.
You are spot on , on this one.You cannot beat the buzz of an auction when you want the car.Maybe the new owner has paid a little over market value, but he or she has got what they want.Nice specced motor.jjr1 said:

That price was mental ?Car is a decent spec clubsport but early run 2017 model also not one owner probably 2 maybe 3. Intersting the history on the car which is also a minus. It had a service at c12 months old but no 2 year service. Whether the first service was just an oil change don't know. Be interesting whether Porsche would honour the warranty having regard to this in the event of a claim.
Further evidence buyers will pay top money for the right cars. In this case £151500 total which is about right.
With the current very strong state of the market, restricted new 992 GT3s coming through next year and new car price increases incl Porsche reckon on these cars being £170k again by next Spring peak buying season.

170k ??
really ? are you nuts ?? wow that would be a massive jump from where there were this time last year but if shortages continue on new cars could that be possible as prices are softening but not by a lot and we're almost into December ... wow I really hope you're wrong ... why o why didn't I buy one earlier ...
just to confirm thats me punching me !

Interesting info on the service history. IMO not having a comprehensive history is very damaging to the re-sale. Of course i'm not fully furnished with the actual facts and it could be a very plausable reason. Car is a decent spec clubsport but early run 2017 model also not one owner probably 2 maybe 3. ok all bets please ... collecting cars 2017 PORSCHE 911 (991.2) GT3 silver and very nice https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2017-porsche-9... what do we reckon ? .... couple of obvious points - no led, non leather dash, steels, comfort seats and buyers premium of 6k and its winter so prices are down, covid has ended (really?!) inflation on the way up so no point leaving your money in the bank ....any guesses on a final price
