Evening chaps - views on this car please?

Have been keeping a close eye on these for the past few months was close to buying the Perth aerokit but decided against it and for a bizarre reason it stuck around for 4-5 weeks.
Just missing a leather dash on this - avoid or is it really a must?
Thanks
You can always get the dash trimmed yourself if it bothers you that much?https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/911-Carrera-GT...

Unless you have the leather dash the car is virtually scrap.https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/911-Carrera-GT...

I'd had mine 2 years before I realised that mine wasn't leather.

I was looking the other day and wow manuals are so rare. Only one manual available and its been that way for a while. So many PDK's
There are something like 200 PDK’s and 100 Manual cars. You’d think the ratio was more like 10 to 1 judging by the classifieds Having had manual and PDK 997s, I'd take a PDK for a car I intended to drive regularly. The manual is lovely though.

For me it’s the best water cooled 911 with a manual gearbox that hasn’t come out of the GT department.
996/997 Turbo’s - Four wheel drive just doesn’t do any 911 any favours and I much prefer NASP engines with a manual gearbox
997 Sport Classic - same car mechanically
991.1 GTS - Iffy gearbox and first gen electric steering
991.2 GTS - Great car but it’s now turbo charged and the later ones have GPF
991.2 Carrera T - Turbo charged, same weight as 997 GTS but 10% less power.
992 Carrera/S - Not for me.

And with buckets?! I would say that is a very good price. shame on the plastic dash but that could be revised is one should care to. I'd say that is a score. Specifically Manual GTS's seem to be as sought after, if not more, than CR's it seems. Someone has reserved a stunner there and a fair price all things considered. https://www.ashgood.co.uk/vehicle-details/Used-Por...

In the current market that’s a very cheap car.
I think there are signs the market is turning. We're into winter, more cars hitting the market with sellers being realistic and signs of an economic downturn with NI increases, petrol up, food up, energy up and COVID bailouts to pay for.Good time to sell now whilst you can still realise that gain, before people realise they have less disposable income to spend.

I tried to buy that yesterday, it was reserved.https://www.ashgood.co.uk/vehicle-details/Used-Por...
Shame there was no sports chrono pack, seems odd given the rest of the spec.

Many of the manuals weren't ordered with sport chrono in GTS, I thought weird too, when I bought mine. I had the sport button etc retrofitted albeit you can't retro the 'wart' stopwatch. Lovely spec on the Ashgoods car, albeit sunroof is neither here nor there for me, but the buckets are lovely.Shame there was no sports chrono pack, seems odd given the rest of the spec.

VCAR should really have a Cat P for cars with a plastic dash. They should be scrapped and not allowed back on the road.MC99 said:
