Christ you could part it out for more than that. Great buy and colour scheme
Agree. I wonder how long it will take to sell.

I am considering selling mine - probably next year - for a 991 S, so I have a vested interest in the values.

Thanks for the info, i understand the relays are within the 996 seats but in the relay panel of the 997. Did you simply remove the 996 relays from the seats and locate under the 997 ones? Its a shame for me that the front seats arent black or i'd try and twist your arm to sell separately biglaugh

Best of luck!
Yes the relays and on mounts that clip to the bottom of the 996 seats, the clips are different on the 997 so I cable tied the 996 clips to the 997 seats. I thought that better than leaving the relays loose and wrapping them to prevent rattling incase they got too hot due to the wrapping.

That is ridiculously cheap. Looks like a good car. Wow
Looks like a nice car but the MOT history is a bit colourful! Previous advisories from 2021/2022 suggest rotten front chassis rails...

Seems to be quite a few early C2 manuals popping up on Facebook marketplace at the moment.

These two are up for £14k before haggling:

And another closer to £16k:

Very nice. I'm such a fan of the red interior, too.
Price has gone up

I'd be very wary of the state of the drivers seat, slight glimpse in one of the phots, but phot of the seat noticeably absent.....

yes, but my logic is that if you buy it that cheap, you have a few grand "more" to play with to bring it to the standard you want.

I did this.

I paid just £8900 for my 996 in May 2020 but have subsequently spend around £3500 on it, resulting in a tidy car that owes me £12.4k

That £3500 includes a new set of alloys and carbon fibre mirror caps which cost around around £1300 for both.

Yes, me too, paid £10K in 2022, spent way more getting it to where I wanted it to be, rather I spent the money, on what I wanted rather than someone else's 'rebuild'.

I was simply pointing out that, at that price, there will be quite a lot to put right.......even if it doesn't show itself immediately. But I suspect we all know that!

Mine's just come back from hospital after locking me out in some kind of electromechanical brain fart.

Replaced suspension last year and new tyres this year. Geo sorted with the other work required.

It's just so good on summer Pennine roads.

I quite like it. But I prefer this Memphis Design inspired one from Italy.

I love stuff like this, but myself I drive a black on black car boxedin

Yeah it's a 4wd but I'd be willing to convert that the 2wd because it looks so good. And it has the shocking bullet holes too. I really hate them. Seriously does bring up the question. If you are replacing or repairing a panel how do you get the paint codes?

I'd quite happily drive around in something like that. But then I like some of the race car paint jobs like the funky hippy

Have to say I love that. Surprised it still hasn't sold. Any idea why - is it just overpriced in todays market?
