Very interesting, so do OEM porsche pistons have removable gudgeon pins?

I seem to recall a lot of the issues around retaining standard rods and replacing pistons (or vice versa) was oem pistons often use friction fit gudgeon pins that one use only/ weren't really workable with aftermarket pistons?
Not sure about that. Fitting the pistons to the rods isn’t easy from memory, but most builders have their tricks and special tools to make the process easiER.

It's MET's, it'll be for sale, then not for sale, then sold, then not for sale, then up for sale for more money, then sold but not sale agreed, then off the market, then up for sale, then who knows what. At some point it may be sold but no one will know how much, why or why not it ever sold for.

Seems its back up to 32.5k! If that had popped up a few months ago when i was looking then i'd have been more than interested. For those of us who cant afford a GT3, a well sorted c2 is obviously the next best thing and that sounds like it is one of those.

4wd, cabrio, auto... Hard to imagine a less attractive spec. Lovely colour and condition but one for the certifiable only.

Why do 911s look so great with an aero front and standard back?

997s are the same.

It certainly is.

I suspect because they're exactly how the designers originally penned them, but with just a soupçon of additional front end aggression. Though the stance is equally important, so lowered with spacers (or wider, non-genuine wheels) is a prerequisite to the look too :

I was interested in his Guards GT3 a few years ago, pre-price madness, in many ways I regret not going for it.
Followed his Instagram since, lots of interesting cars.

I agreed to buy it last year but he got cold feet.
