I've put a deposit down to be in the allocation list but ideally wouldn't want to collect it until July-Aug 2025.

Here's the spec: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PS8U...

I like the stealth look but the Sport Design Carbon package seems to add quite a bit of Anthracite Grey (front apron, side skirts, rear diffuser). In the 3D view, the Anthracite Grey bits appear to be quite light in colour. Unsure how well this well contrast against black paint.

I did select Exterior Package painted in Black (high-gloss) as well but I despise gloss black wheels.

The front aero slats are starting to grow on me but really need to see one in person before I make my mind up.

That actually looks decent value. I am easily getting a base Carrera to £115k+ on the configurator just with stuff you need for resale.
it is and bearing in mind the gts is already well equipped

centrelock wheels, rear axle steering, pasm -10mm,
chrono, sports exhaust, pdk
matrix led lights, auto folding / dimming mirrors
full leather, heated s/wheel, race tex headlining
park assist with cam, comfort access, light design pack

personally id just put metallic, 18 way sports seats, option in rear seats, bose and swap the steering wheel back to leather.

I’ve got a 992.2 GTS on order and agree that you really don’t need to add to it much in terms of options now. Has anyone seen Vanadium grey in real life? I’ve read that it has a blueish tint to it. Just wondering whether the arctic blue seat belts and dials would make a good contrast with the standard interior.

Benno, you are absolutely bang on. I still think that the GTS was a bit over priced after the last 992.1 price rise but then which car isn’t overpriced now.

Add a nice old colour option like Maritime Blue and you are at £202k and the nice bucket seats remove the option for rear seats, so you might just as well get a GT car...

Hey all I did was change the colour from the previous thread that hit £197k, I must admit I have zero interest in a 992.2 even the new GT3 or ST is juts too 'tech' and too big for me !

I’m sensing the gt silver will suit the black and / or red interior, the vanadium will suit black or to the blue options.

Vanadium was the launch colour of the Spyder RS. Vanadium and Red look great othgether:

Even with my fantasty garage money-no-object head on, I've only managed to take a GTS from £135k base to aroudn £160k, and most of that is the PTS at £9k. Not sure how you'd get to nearly £200k unless being deliberately frivolous to make a point about the cost of options.

New PTS colour 'Seanpeach' and with Dark Night Blue interior and Orange stitching - think this would be all the car I'd ever need.

My parents had a bathroom suite in that colour in the 70s.

Seen as we're all at it this is my GTS comfort/touring spec:

https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSLI...

£176,761.00 - but £18k of the £44k options are PTS and PCCB so, er, bargain!

That's very nice. I couldn't cope with the rev counter and chrono clock being different colour though!

I prefer the RS Spyder wheels but couldn't spec them on mine with the black aerokit.

For comfort, does the GTS come with the -10mm PASM or can it have standard PASM.

For UK road use, I found the standard PASM on the 992.1 much nicer with no noticeable chassis downside.

PCCBs are superb and they can also improve ride composure, but the new pricing, like PTS, is a massive increase and, sadly, will put most people off.
PASM is a no cost option on the configurator, doesn't mention -10mm

Here you go my GTS spec but couldn’t pay £150k for one thats GT3 money! A lightly specced Carrera for £107k seems better value to me.

This is the correct spec for this car, but I would go for 992.1 GTS or GT3 touring 1st

Insane price for a GTS.

I turned down a fully specced brand new winged 992 GT3 PDK CS with ceramics in Arctic Grey my OPC gave me first refusal on at £189k last Autumn because it was overpriced.
