Right, I know i've probably missed a few and had to squeeze the supermarkets' regular and super into the same option, but I've run out of space.

My thought to start this poll is my unexpected findings with my fuel economy. Super marker fuel is generally slated but I have found the opposite. On average I get 36 mpg. When using fuel from Morrisons I will get better economy every time, not my a huge amount - but I would say it's significant. Generally I get 38/39 mpg from there, but have got 42 as a best. This is based on a pretty much identical ~320 miles per week. It makes the difference of having to fill up once a week, or every 6 days.

Incidently the worst economy I have had is VPower, getting around 34 to the gallon.

I stay away from Tesco, my car simply seems to hate it when I go there, I loose power, it hates cold starts even more so than usual, and the fuel gauge seems to drop like ive just taken a drill to the tank. As soon as I go back to esso or shell regular stuff its happy as larry again. I avoid the texaco's simply because they are so expensive. So I just simply go to either the shell or the esso, depending upon which is cheapest. Currently the esso is at £1.28 and the shell is £1.29 so you know where I currently go (=

You're not going to get anything meaningful from this - driving style, traffic, journey type, ambient temperature, etc. all vary from fillup to fillup.

Where's the option for - It doesn't make a difference?

Posted a thread about this a while ago http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a.... smile

I consistently find BP petrol to make a significant difference on the Escort, but have yet to see it make a difference on the Astra, so I suspect it depends on what you're running.

It's made noticeable difference to any car I have ever owned.
