Rarer than....Octavia rear window

So Friday I pull onto the drive, open and close the boot after getting my site boots out and SMASH, the window shatters.

Don't know why it went but it did. No worries I thought call my lease hire company and get it changed. AA Autoscreens turn up yesterday with the wrong screen (no wiper hole) after being told 10 times it had a wiper hole. They check their system and can't find any codes for an Octavia window from here to the USA!?!? WTF. Chap says it might take 2/3 weeks to get one!

Getting National Windscreens to come on Monday to sort it but how can a company like the AA not even have codes for an Octy. Has one never broke before?

Shouldn't be that difficult to get hold of. A local taxi company had a bit of bother some months ago as a result the windscreen place next door to us must have replaced around 40 Octavia windows, quite a few of which were rear screens.

That's were all the spares went then!
