What car?

Good evening All, Im in a bit of a pickle.

Soon ill be needing a bigger car (estate Maybe) small budget maybe 1k
must be spacious, diesel preferably and cheap insurance (only have 2yrs no claims).

Ive looked at astras, focus's, mondeos

Any other suggestions welcome, VAG metal is too pricey on insurace so thats a no no really

Any help appreciated

without wanting to sound like a Volvo fanboy - I'd recommend an old Volvo (940/740/850/V70) estate - solid cars and will run forever, if you can find a local Vovlo specialist they are cheap to service too.

and only 103,000 miles!! That's a deal, you could sell it for the same amount 1-2 years down the line as long as you look after it

Will ring my insurance company tomorrow and see what they say.

Please dont take this the wrong way but for £1000 that is probably the best you are going to get unfortunately. Insurance 5k? Surely not?

I appreciate that 1k is a small budget but it could be stretched a little.
regarding insurance, i kid you not. i pay over 2k for my polo. But i can insure an astra estate for 1100. posted from phone sorry about format.
